(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested an unidentified Indian man for using a strange method to evade arrest, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the police went to arrest the man when they were informed he was stealing government telephone lines.
Security sources said the man threatened to unleash a poisonous snake on them and when they went close to him he threw the reptile on the securitymen and tried in vain to escape.
Police then searched his apartment and seized sophisticated instruments which he used to provide illegal telephone service to residents of the area.
He has been handed over to the authorities.
