(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Director General of the National Training Institute (NTI) Osama Jaradat on Monday said the size of the workforce in Jordan had reached 1.6 million, which is 27 per cent of the total population.
Inaugurating a training course, he noted that the size of the labour force in comparison to the population is "low" compared with other countries, adding that public sector workers number around 210,000 and that the unemployment rate stands at 12.5 per cent.
