UAE- Enoc's subsidiary commences work on USD142m oil terminal

(MENAFN) Emirates National Oil Company's (Enoc) CEO, Saeed Abdullah Khoory, stated that the company's subsidiary, Horizon Terminals Ltd (HTL), started the construction of the USD142 million liquid petroleum terminal in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone, reported Emirates 24/7. Khoory said that the Horizon Bulk Liquid Petroleum Terminal is expected to start operations during next year's fourth quarter, adding that it will have a storage capacity of 141,000 cubic meters, whereas the 58km pipeline will be directly linked to the Dubai International Airport for the supply of jet fuel oil. Moreover, the terminal will have tanker truck loading facilities attached to oil tanker berths and associated abilities to be sure that supply lines to other airports in the country are faultless. It is worth noting that the pipeline, which will have a branch-off connection to the Al Maktoum International Airport, conforms to the highest safety and capacity standards to meet higher demand for jet fuel oil.
