(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A forum themed "challenges and forecast of economic diversification in the Sultanate" got underway here on Saturday with participation of local and foreign figures and experts.
The two-day forum, sponsored by the Chairman of the State Council, Dr. Yahia Bin Al-Muntheri, addresses a host of issues, namely analytical examination of the national economy, strategic alternatives for realizing food security, strategic economic planning and luring investments, diversifying resources of income, soaring prices of basic commodities, alarming inflation in GCC states and the food gap.
