Kuwait- MPW working on construction of first railway tracks project


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Undersecretary of Ministry of Public Works Abdul Aziz Al-Kuleib says the Ministry is working on the project of constructing the first railway tracks in the history of Kuwait, in addition to a flyover in Boubyan for vehicles by March 2013, reports Al-Anba daily. Al-Kuleib revealed this during an event held at the diwaniya of Attorney Hassan Al-Kandari on Wednesday at Jahra. He explained that he visited the event to inform citizens about the major projects executed by the Ministry of Public Works and to assure them that the projects undertaken by the ministry in Boubyan are being implemented as per the schedule. He said the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port is expected to be one of the biggest ports in the region as it would have a great impact politically and economically and would also offer several job opportunities during the implementation period. Meanwhile, he added that the ministry is currently analyzing several projects, which he hoped would soon be implemented. He stressed on the interest of the ministry for human development as success would be farfetched if focus is not equally given to the development of human elements.
