Khalaf Al Habtoor bids farewell to the outgoing Consul General of the Netherlands 

(MENAFN Press) The Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Khalaf Al Habtoor, welcomed the Consul General of the Netherlands Kees V.A. Van Spronsen to the Al Habtoor head office on Tuesday May 23, 2012.

Van Spronsen made a point paying a courtesy visit to Al Habtoor as he is leaving his post after so many years and has met with Khalaf Al Habtoor on many occasions during that time.

The two men discussed business and politics and the relationship between the UAE and the Netherlands. In particular they talked about the fact that a large number of Dutch companies are choosing to relocate to Dubai lately.

"I welcome the fact that many Dutch companies are choosing to move to my country in recent times," commented Al Habtoor. "The United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands have long enjoyed a good relationship. It is my wish that it continues."

He also pointed out that he wishes the outgoing Consul General well. "I would like to take this occasion to wish Mr Van Spronsen good luck for the future," he added.
