(MENAFN- Arab Times) Hawally traffic officers carried out impromptu inspection campaigns on Qatar Street in Salmiya and issued 88 traffic violations against drivers who breached the traffic rules.
They also seized seven vehicles for not complying with the specified safety regulations.
According to security sources, authorities received several calls from frustrated road users regarding the recklessness demonstrated by some individuals on the road, which endanger the lives of other road users.
They confirmed that such traffic campaigns will be continued in the following days particularly on weekends.
