As the gun was not set to safety lock, some bullets were accidently discharged from the gun. An Emirati guest, S.H, was killed on the spot while the brother of the accused and his cousin were critically injured. R.S's brother succumbed to his injuries a few days later. The police rushed to the scene and detained the accused. While interrogation, R.S. spoke about his accomplice, S.R. who hid the weapon used in the crime. He too was arrested.
