(MENAFN- Jordan Times) His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday congratulated Saudi King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz on the 7th anniversary of his accession to the throne, according to a Royal Court statement.
In a telephone call, the Monarch stressed Jordan's keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields.
The King expressed his "deepest" appreciation of Saudi Arabia's support for the Kingdom and the assistance it provides to the country, which contributes to achieving reform and development programmes.
The call came one day after His Majesty sent the Saudi leader a message, delivered by Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
The Saudi monarch reiterated during his meeting with Judeh his country's willingness to continue support for the Kingdom in the face of the present challenges.
