(MENAFN) Omantel's CEO, Dr. Amer Awadh Al Rawas, stated that the tlecom service provider inked a deal with Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production (OOCEP) to provide the latter with communication and connectivity solutions, reported Times of Oman.
Al Rawas said that under the agreement, the firm will deliver fixed-lines and mobile services to remote areas, providing telephone, internet and mobile services; and during the same time, it will provide the oil company with its services.
Moreover, Omantel will offer the best connectivity solutions enhanced by Service Level Agreement, which secures high accessibility of the network.
It is worth noting that the 5-year period agreement gives OOCEP access to Omantel's Fibre services, in addition to GSM mobile technology.
