(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Ezdan Real Estate Company is ranked first among the Arab real estate companies, by sector, and is listed as one of 500 top capitalisation Arab companies listed for the year 2011. According to the list of the 'Finance and Business', the specialised business magazine, the market capitalisation of Ezdan Real Estate Company reached $16.16bn till the end of 2011.
Ezdan Real Estate Company is one of the first 500 listed Arab companies, and according to the market capitalisation for the years 2010 and 2011, is ranked seventh. The company has been ranked third among the local companies that are listed at the Arab market list comprising the GCC countries, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine, the magazine said.
The top ten companies out of the 500 selected Arab companies which are the top-listed capitalization for the year 2011; are three Qatari companies, four Saudi companies, two Kuwaiti companies and one Emirati company. As for the Qatari companies, Qatar National Bank is ranked first, among the Qatari companies, and is ranked third among the Arab nations; while Qatari industries ranked second among Qatari companies and fourth in the Arab world. As for Ezdan Real Estate Company, it is ranked third among Qatari companies, and ranked seventh overall in the Arab world.
The list of the top 500 Arab companies among top-listed capitalization (for the year 2011) shows that 20 Qatari companies are ranked among the top 100 Arab listed companies, according to the market capitalisation for the years 2010 and 2011.
