The Emirates Business Women Council hold 2nd meet


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Emirates Business Women Council has formed its executive office and named chairs of affiliate committees at the second meeting of its third session 2012-2014 of its new board. The Council named Thurayya Al-Awadhi as chair of the Committee on Services and Public Relations Committee, Najla Al-Mutawwa as chair of the Committee on Training and Studies and Aysha Sultan as chair of the Committee on International Relations. Fatima Obaid Al-Jaber, Chairwoman of the board of the Emirates Business Women Council and the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, in remarks at the meeting, hailed the achievements made by UAE women in 40 years of the federation. Hailing the support extended by the top leadership to women, Al-Jaber said: "Women are a top priority for the government's strategic plan UAE Vision 2021." The new board, she added, will be backing initiatives and enterprises by emirati businesswomen. The meeting discussed a number of matters including the Council's participation in local and international events.
