(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Abu Halifa Police Station accusing his Syrian friend of swindling him to the tune of KD 41,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
In his complaint, the victim said the Syrian convinced him to join his business venture and after receiving the money disappeared.
The victim tried to contact him but found the cell phone switched off.
