Kuwait- ABK supports Al Wafaa School for Girls


(MENAFN- Arab Times) As part of the Bank's corporate social responsibility program Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait provided students of Al Wafaa School for Girls a complete set of laptops, to enable their learning experience to be more convenient and innovative. Ms Sahar Al Therban, Public Relations Manager at ABK, explained the significance of such an event for the Bank as well as for the school. "At ABK we take our corporate social responsibility seriously and today we feel privileged to be a part of and facilitate the learning process at Al Wafaa School. The Bank is honored that by providing some facilities for the girls, it can make a small but significant difference in their lives." Ms Al Therban continued to explain that, "Al Wafaa School for Girls is a special needs school for students with Down's Syndrome, and simply knowing that these students are in need of that little extra help with their learning makes this support all the more important to us." ABK received a heartfelt thank you from Ms. Mariam Dhiab, Headmistress, who was thrilled to receive the laptops on behalf of the students at the school.
