Turkey- Syrian regime will be punished for its crime

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday the Syrian regime would be punished for its crime against its own people, asserting that Ankara would not close its borders in the face of Syrians fleeing unrest in the troubled country. "With Allah's willing the process of change will start in Syria sooner of later," Erdogan said during his visit to Syrian refugees near the international borders with Syria. "Until the victory of the will of the Syrian people, we will keep on defending the rights of our Syrian brothers and will continue receiving them and hosting them and will not close the doors in their faces," he said. "All those who make our Syrian brothers suffer under the atrocious suppression will be punished by the Syrian people," he said. "Until your return to your homes by your own free will, you will be most welcomed here," Erdogan told the refugees who were offered health and educational services. Turkey, he said, was coordinating with the UN, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to helping the Syrian refugees. Syrian refugees in the Kilis camp demanded the international community's intervention to stop the bloodshed and suppression in Syria. Two Syrian refugees were killed and 19 others injured when gun fire was opened from the Syrian side of the borders. Turkey strongly condemned the attack and warned the Syrian regime against repeating such incident.
