(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ahmadi securitymen are on the lookout for an unidentified man who allegedly shot a Syrian salesperson at a market in Agaila, reports Al-Anba daily. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location when the Operations Room at Ministry of Interior received information about the incident. Reportedly, the accused, who wore the national attire and spoke in fluent Kuwaiti dialect, was with his family at the market and had requested the victim to help him choose a toy for his child. When the victim asked the age of the child, the suspect said the toy was for a young boy. When the victim repeated the question, the suspect assumed he was being mocked and said he will return in 30 minutes to collect the toy chosen by the salesperson. However, the suspect returned to the store but this time with a weapon using which he shot four times at the victim before escaping. The Syrian victim was rushed to the hospital and a case was registered against the culprit for murder attempt and possession of unlicensed weapon.
