Le Meridien Dubai plans to expand current facilities


(MENAFN) Le Meridien Dubai announced that it would spend USD122.48 million to expand its existing premises, reported Gulf News. The hotel company added that the expansion work would include adding 197 extra rooms, as well as adding new banqueting facilities. It also said that the new 8-story building, which is scheduled to complete by May 2013, is being established nearby the current Royal Club, and will raise the current room inventory to 580 from the 383 at the current time. Moreover, expanding the banqueting facilities will begin this July, whereas the Falcon Ballroom will be reconstructed to accommodate 1,000 guests. It is worth noting that Le Meridien's Great ballroom will undergo a renovation process to reflect modern trends in decoration and technology.
