London Underground target of maintenance workers' strike


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Maintenance workers on London's Underground (Tube) network on Tuesday began a 72-hour strike over pensions and security which unions vowed would have a 'big impact.', dpa reported. However, operators London Underground (LU) insisted that the walkout on three lines would not have a 'significant effect.' The action taken by members of Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) was due to last until Friday.
