(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Tamouh, the master developer of Reem Island headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has announced the completion of handover of more than 3,000 residential units at the Marina Square development.
Covering 26.7 hectares, Marina Square features 14 buildings - 13 residential and one commercial - and 24 townhouses over a built-up area of more than 827,000 square metres.
The vibrant community brings to the capital an exciting marina lifestyle, topped with diverse gourmet restaurants and community focused facilities, open areas and retail outlets.
Tamouh is highlighting this achievement during its sixth consecutive participation at Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2012, which concludes today. As part of this effort, Tamouh is showcasing the enhanced proposition of marina living to the city's current and future residents.
Marina Square is currently home to around 500 families.
Tamouh is also spotlighting its latest entertainment development, Wadi Adventure, located in Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain. The new water adventure park, which will open its facilities to UAE residents and visitors soon, features the region's first 1,133-metre artificial white water rafting and kayaking facility.
Amongst other attractions planned in the water park are surf pools capable of making three meter high waves every 90 seconds, a rope course, climbing wall and zip line.
"We are participating in the capital's most important real estate exhibition to confirm our commitment to support residents. The Marina Square promise has now been delivered in entirety. With the completion of handover, our focus now moves to the other projects within our portfolio," Joe Ong, managing director of Tamouh, said.
