Netanyahu Downplays Gas Dispute With Egypt

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that the cutoff of Egyptian gas to Israel was not born of political developments, but was rather a result of business dispute. "This is actually a business dispute between the Israeli company and the Egyptian company,'' he said. Earlier on Monday, the Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said that he hoped the dispute could be solved like any business dispute, Israel Radio reported. Israel has every desire to uphold the peace accords with Egypt, he said.
