Mobile boarding pass: A new era in Saudi Arabia when travelling by nasair.
(MENAFN - Arab News) Nasair is offering passengers the option of receiving their boarding passes directly to their smartphone.
Francois Bouteiller, CEO of nasair, said: "No print-out is required. Customers simply show their smartphone screen to the immigration, security checks and the boarding gate."
He said nasair customers could also select to receive their boarding pass by e-mail, taking a print-out of their boarding pass to proceed directly to the boarding gate.
Francois Bouteiller said web check-in and the mobile boarding pass services are available for customers traveling from Jeddah or Riyadh with cabin baggage only.
If the passenger is traveling with any hold baggage, he should check in at nasair counters as usual.
He said boarding passes issued by e-mail and/or smartphone will be issued with the full name entered by the customer at the time of booking.
He urged all customers to ensure they enter the correct names to match their passports (international flights) or national ID (domestic flights).
Bouteiller said all web check-in customers should allow sufficient time to complete customs and immigration formalities and arrive at the boarding gate 45 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time.
Nasair CEO said customers, who selected the mobile boarding pass and unable to access it due to any technical difficulty, should contact the nasair staff at the check-in counters to have a regular printed boarding pass.
