Turkey's TAV inks USD800m Saudi aircraft facility deal


(MENAFN) Turkey's TAV Construction said that it has won a USD800 million Saudi tender with joint venture partner Al-Rajhi Holding-Al Habtoor Leighton Joint Venture, reported Arab News. The company added that it would design, establish and operate an aircraft hangar facility that belongs to state-owned Saudi Arabia Airlines (Saudia) at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. It also said that the facility will comprise 11 hangar buildings, together with aircraft maintenance buildings, in addition to an administrative building, closed car park and aircraft parking aprons. It is worth noting that TAV Construction is owned by TAV Group and Akfen Holding.
