Qatar- QP Honours 339 Employees For Long Services


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Under the patronage of HE the Minister of Energy and Industry and QP board chairman and managing director Dr Mohamed Bin Saleh Al Sada, Qatar Petroleum (QP) felicitated this week 1207 employees who had completed 10 to 35 years of service with the company. The annual Continuous Service Award (CSA) ceremony was attended by senior QP officials as well as families and relatives of the awardees. QP Director of Oil and Gas Ventures Saad Sherida al Kaabi presented the awards on behalf Dr al Sada. The awardees consisted of 27 employees who had been with QP for 35 years, 62 employees for 30 years, while 74 employees were felicitated for 25 years of service, and 175 employees who have been part of the corporation for 20 years. Speaking on the occasion, Kaabi said, "I am happy that you have not only worked for the cause of Qatar Petroleum, but also have contributed immensely in supporting the vision of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani in transforming Qatar as the undisputed global leader in LNG production and making it the GTL capital of the world." All the awardees received a certificate signed by Sada, and a gift as a token of appreciation for their long years of service with the corporation. Organised by QP s Public Relations and Communications Department in partnership with QP s Administration Directorate, the main objective of the Continuous Service Award (CSA) ceremony is to recognise those QP employees who have distinguished themselves by their long years of dedicated service with the corporation.
