Qatari Ezdan's 2011 profits surge 185%


(MENAFN) Qatari Ezdan Real Estate Company said that net profits in 2011 soared by 185 percent from a year earlier, reported The Peninsula. The company added that net profits in the period reached USD94.67 million, up from USD5.76 million posted in 2010. It also said that overall profit in rental activities surged by 32 percent, reaching USD137.21 million, compared with USD103.73 million in the previous year. It is worth noting that Ezdan sold several properties is 2011, specified with a total value amounted USD264.27 million, resulting in overall profit of USD23 million.
