ICAI Abu Dhabi chapter elects new committee


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Abu Dhabi chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has elected its new managing committee for 2012. At its annual general meeting held recently, the ICAI Abu Dhabi chapter re-elected Ramesh Krishnan and Padmanabha Acharya as chairman and vice-chairman of the managing committee, respectively. Other elected office bearers are Rajiv Shah, secretary; Suresh Panwar, treasurer and Ashish Bhandari, joint secretary. Other main committee members are B.S.Mony, Susheel Jain, Ashraf Misba and Nilesh Ambikar. In addition to the above, the committee has nine sub-committee members to support the main committee. The Abu Dhabi chapter of ICAI is one of the very active chapters among the 21 overseas chapters of the Institute. The chapter has been in existence for the past 28 years and currently comprises about 600 members.
