(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Middle East MDRT (million dollar round table) Day, which opens today at The Ritz Carlton, DIFC Dubai, will draw around 500 life insurance and financial services professionals from across the globe, organizers said on Sunday.
The event, themed "Raising the bar: Reaching new heights of productivity," will feature training session on sales and practice management techniques.
"The insurance industry continue to expand in the Middle East, and this meeting provides MDRT, a global association of nearly 36,000 financial professionals, with an opportunity to provide education and share best practices to enable participants to learn more about providing excellent client services and building client trust," said Sunit Arora, regional chair of MDRT.
MDRT, President Jennifer A. Borislow, said the theme of the meeting reminds of the importance of viewing challenges as opportunities to learn. "The tests we face make us better people and better advisors," he said.
