Emax to open 10 stores across GCC

(MENAFN) Emax's CEO, Neelesh Bhatnagar, said that the consumer electronics retailer would launch 10 outlets across the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) countries, reported Emirates 24/7. Bhatnagar added that at the current time, the company, a unit of well-diversified Landmark Group, has 32 stores in the GCC, and would have between 40 and 42 stores by the end of 2012. He also said that Emax plans to employ additional 500 staff for the new stores. Moreover, 4 of the new stores would be launched in the UAE, where nearly 200 more staff would be added before year-end. It is worth noting that Emax has begun recruiting from Tunisia, Kenya, Syria, Jordan and Kazakhstan.
