(MENAFN - Arab Times) A Kuwaiti man and his wife played a cheap trick in a cooperative society to take revenge from the board of the society and tarnish the reputation of its members, reports Al-Rai daily.
The couple put worms inside a product they had earlier purchased from the cooperative and placed it back on a shelf.
The husband took photo of the worms with his cell phone and posted it on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
Unfortunately for the couple, the act was recorded by CCTVs and workers confirmed that the man had earlier shopped at the cooperative. The board members then called police who confronted the husband with the footage.
A case was registered against him and sources say his wife would be summoned for questioning.
'Liquor for sale': Securitymen at the Kuwait International Airport arrested an Indian expatriate for selling alcohol to customers in the parking lot of the airport, reports Al-Rai daily.
Acting on a tipoff, securitymen laid a trap and arrested the Indian while selling alcohol to a police agent. They also seized 15 bottles of Red Label whisky from the Indian and referred him to authorities.
Pickpocket on visit: Policemen arrested an expatriate pickpocket for stealing from people visiting the Capital branch of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and referred him to authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.
On receiving many complaints from victims, police intensified investigations and caught the thief red-handed in possession of KD 250.
The pickpocket is said to have come to the country on a visit visa and sources said his sponsor will be summoned for questioning.
