Bangladeshis grocery shop shut for promoting prostitution


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Director of Jahra Security Directorate Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah ordered the closure of several groceries in Saad Al-Abdullah area for their blatant violation of rules, reports Al-Rai daily. The step was taken after residents in the area complained that the groceries were being used to promote prostitution, trafficking in local alcohol, offering illegal overseas call services and sheltering runaway maids. Six Bangladeshi workers running these shops were referred to Saad Al-Abdullah Police Station.
