(MENAFN - Arab Times) An Egyptian security guard in a commercial complex in Mubarakiya was stabbed to death Thursday evening when he engaged in a fistfight with three youths, one of whom is a Kuwaiti; and two other Egyptians, who suffered stab wounds in different parts of their bodies.
Eyewitnesses revealed the three youths had a heated argument with a worker at a clothing store in the complex. When the guard intervened, the youths took turns in stabbing him with knives, resulting in deep wounds in various parts of his body.
Securitymen and medical emergency workers rushed to the location immediately after the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior received a call from one of those who witnessed the altercation.
The injured were taken to Amiri Hospital but the guard succumbed to his wounds before reaching the hospital.
The suspects were arrested and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances leading to the bloody fight. This will be followed by the necessary legal action against the alleged killers.
