The US cost of living will most probably show us only minor change

So far prices pressures remain well subdued as already attested and projected by the FOMC members and the Federal Reserve as shown clearly throughout yesterday PPI data and to be shown as well in today's CPI index or in other words cost of living that would most probably show insignificant change for the month of March mainly as this past period energy prices have also stabilized.

In fact we can easily affirm that inflation levels across the nation remain well subdued across the country on a short and long term regardless of the past surge in prices caused by higher gasoline and fuel prices which were only temporary while that yesterday the Federal Reserve Bank of New York President; William C. Dudley, attested publicly that he expect only a "moderation of overall inflation to resume later this year.

Not forgetting yesterday where Core PPI for March rose only slightly to 0.3 percent from 0.2 percent as a result of higher light truck and soaps prices and came in at 2.9 percent from 3.0 percent for the year ending March while that the PPI for the same month actually plunged to 0.0 percent from 0.4 percent, all in all confirming stable inflation levels as seen this past month and also past year.

And accordingly today the CPI for March may have only plunged to 0.3 percent from 0.4 percent and to 2.7 percent from 2.9 percent for the year ending March while that the Core CPI for March could have climbed up faintly to come in around 0.2 percent from 0.1 percent and stayed most probably unchanged at 2.2 percent for the year ending March.

As for the overall economical conjuncture of the superpower the economy continued to expand in all twelve Federal Reserve districts at a modest-to-moderate pace from mid-February through late March as manufacturing and hiring advanced even as fuel prices may have weighed on the economy as shown within this week Fed's Beige book to therefore most probably watch later on today an unchanged preliminary reading of confidence of 76.2 for the month of April.
