Rwanda keen to promote commercial cooperation with Kuwait


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Rwanda's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning John Rwangombwa said that his current visit to the state of Kuwait aims at promoting commercial partnership with the gulf country. During a meeting with the Second Deputy of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, the Rwandan official noted that his country engaged in huge economic reforms to improve investment and attract more foreign investors in various sectors, especially in agriclutlure. He called for conducting more visits between Kuwait and Rwanda to get familiarized with investment oppurtunities. Although Al-Wazzan stressed the "deep" commercial and economic ties with the African country yet he aspired to further this cooperation, especially in agriculture which would greatly benefit the state of Kuwait. Al-Wazzan noted that some of the obstacles that stand on the path of commercial cooperation with Rwana are the lack of information and the difficulty of transportation. However, he pointed out the two governments adamant to activate this cooperation to serve the best interest of both countries.
