Kuwait- 23-yr-old steals 47-yr-old girlfriend's savings 

(MENAFN - Arab Times) Police have arrested a 23-year-old youth for cheating his 47-year-old girlfriend by withdrawing all the money in her bank account, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The Kuwaiti woman, in her complaint at Salmiya Police Station, said she asked her boyfriend to stop the car at a bank as she wanted to withdraw money. Her young lover reportedly convinced her to stay in the car and allow him to get the money for her. The youth returned after sometime, saying the ATM machine was out of order.

The woman later discovered that he cheated her and withdrew all her money. The youth has reportedly admitted to the act during interrogation.

Website hacked: A hacker from outside Kuwait hacked the website of Kuwait Municipality and disabled it for several hours, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The hacker posted a link that redirected to a question on whether MP Mohammad Al-Juwaihel, who is a former employee of the Municipality, deserves to be a lawmaker.

Although engineers could bring the situation under control within hours, there are fears that the hacker might have accessed data related to mega projects. The hacker either wanted to find irregularities or steal information, said sources, adding steps are being taken to prevent such occurrences in the future.
