(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested a Filipino woman for swindling a number of Kuwaiti and GCC citizens, reports Al-Rai daily.
The victims lodged complaints at Rumaithiya Police Station, saying the woman convinced them to buy plots of land in the Philippines and disappeared after taking the money.
Securitymen conducted intense investigations and managed to arrest the swindler in Salmiya. The woman reportedly admitted to the act.
