(MENAFN Press) Unique technology improves brightness, color, and light-source lifetime Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Acer Inc. today reveals the LED-laser hybrid K520. This projector uses unique hybrid LED-laser light-source technology to achieve vibrant imagery with long-lasting 2000 lumens brightness.
The hybrid LED-laser light source significantly improves color brightness when compared to high-pressure mercury lamps, and also increases the light source up to 20,000 hours. In addition, this innovative technology enables a wider color gamut to deliver better color saturation.
A number of technologies enhance image quality: DynamicBlack„ 100,000:1 contrast ratio; 2000 lumens brightness; native 1024x768 (XGA) resolution and support for up to Full HD signal deliver crisp, vibrant details and amazing color. Also, the true 24p frame rate presents true-to-master motion.
The K520 supports 3D image output, and when paired with 3D glasses, it can be used to enjoy exciting, theater-like 3D experiences at home, or lifelike 3D content for educational and commercial demonstrations.
Connectivity options include VGA, Composite Video, Composite Video/Audio for analog signals, and an HDMI port so connections to PCs, HD players and game consoles are quick and secure.
Utilization is easy for business meetings or classroom situations because instant on/off capability lets the user turn the projector on and off immediately, without an ignition and a cool-down period. Users can even project on uneven surfaces thanks to 40 vertical keystone correction.
The K520 is equipped with Acer EcoProjection, an environment-friendly power management suite. It features ExtremeECO mode for advanced lamp power control and reduced power consumption of up to 90%. AcerEcoProjection also includes Acer ePower Management for customized power-saving configurations.
The K520 features a white lacquered surface and silver highlights. The design has rounded corners and edges, making it an attractive device for the home or office.
