(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Minister of Manpower and Immigration Fathy Fekry met here on Wednesday HE Qatar's Minister of Social Affairs Abdullah bin Nasser al-Hamidi who is also Acting Minister of Labour, on the sidelines of the 39th session of the Arab Labour Conference, now in session in Cairo.
Both sides reviewed the impacts of the global economic situation on creating new job opportunities as well as raising the current productive employment opportunities.
They reviewed as well the outcomes of the electronic link up between Egypt, Libya, and Jordan in developing the relationship between employers and employees and dismissing labour brokers.
Hailing the electronic link up, HE Al Hamidi decided to send a delegation of Qatar's Ministry of labour to Cairo to review possibilities of applying it between Qatar and Egypt.
