(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir met here on Tuesday with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan. Talks during the meeting dealt with economic cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of developing them as well as issues of common interest, coordination and cooperation in regional and international forums.
Babacan said in a statement after the meeting, that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached $ 260 million, and that Turkish investments in Sudan have reached more than $ 300 million, adding that the coming period will witness the expansion and development of cooperation in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
