Egypt Pumps Fuel to Gaza Amid Energy Crisis


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency)  Egyptian authorities said 900,000 liters of diesel would be pumped on Friday morning through the Kerem Shalom crossing in Gaza Strip. Egypt has made intensive efforts over the last five days to end the fuel crisis the sufferings of thousands of Palestinians , Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Friday. Palestinian Authority, President Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad have coordinated with the Egyptian authorities before deciding to route the fuel through Kerem Shalom to ease the crisis, a PA official told Palestine's Ma'an news agency. 900,000 liters of fuel would ship for the Gaza Strip's sole power plant.
