(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz highly appreciated Kuwait's great efforts to ensure the success of the just-concluded 13th International Energy Forum (IEF).
The forum attracted representatives of a large number of world organizations and companies from 76 countries, he told reporters.
Yildiz, on the other hand, hailed Turkish-Kuwaiti relations in all fields, especially the oil domain, pointing to partnership between both sides' companies.
For his part, Sudanese Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz lauded the fruitful 13th International Energy Forum (IEF) in Kuwait, which drew a large participation of international heavy industry companies.
"Kuwait has succeeded in the organizing of the forum," he told reporters.
On South Sudan's oil transport via North Sudan, the minister said African Union-facilitated negotiations are underway in this respect.
"We are waiting for a response from the other side (South Sudan) on our evaluation of charges for oil transport via Sudanese ports, together with relevant services, which we set at 36 US dollars for a barrel," he said. "We see this is a fair price," the Sudanese minister believed.
