Oman's Duqm to have 600 hotel rooms 

(MENAFN) Oman's Special Economic Zone Authority Duqm's planning and Engineering director, Eng Yahya bin Khamis al Zadjali, said that by the end of 2012, Duqm would have a total of 600 hotel rooms, reported Times of Oman.

Al Zadjali added that Oman Drydock Company would develop a 5-star hotel/resort at the country's fast developing industrial zone.

He also said that the private investor is establishing a housing complex, which would include 344 housing units, for accommodating their employees, and 250 of these units are apartments, whereas the rest are villas.

It is worth noting that Crowne Plaza Duqm Hotel and Al Duqm City Hotel, developed by Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) will be ready during the current year.
