(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) UAE Ambassador to Tunisia Abdullah Ibrahim Al Suwaidi met here with Rachid Al Ghannouchi, head of Tunisia's Ennahda Islamic Movement Party, which is leading the government in Tunisia.
The meeting took note of the latest developments in Tunisa which Al Ghannouchi termed as ''good''. Al Ghannouchi asserted his country was keen and aspiring to open its Eastern gateway to cooperation with Arab countries in Mashreq and the Gulf regions which can offer promising horizons for beneficial bilateral relations.
He added that Tunisia attaches great importance to its relations of cooperation with the UAE, and hoped they would deliver important achievements and encouraging results.
