(MENAFN - Arab News) Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, received in his Riyadh office Bahraini Ambassador Sheikh Humoud bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
The ambassador handed Prince Alwaleed with a letter from Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
During the meeting the pair discussed bilateral relations. They also touched upon latest developments around the world.
In December, Prince Alwaleed congratulated King Hamad, the government and the people of Bahrain for the national team's gold medal victory in the 12th football championship at the Arab Games in Doha.
To mark the occasion, Prince Alwaleed presented 10,000 as a gift to each team member and stressed the importance of supporting sports and athletes in the GCC countries.
Prince Alwaleed visited Bahrain early 2011, meeting with King Hamad to affirm his confidence in the country's leadership.
Prince Alwaleed also met with Essam Fakhro, chairman of Bahrain's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and its members. The prince also referred to the banks and companies that exist in Bahrain, and reaffirmed his investment presence in the country through KHC. Prince Alwaleed also expressed his readiness to further invest in the country.
