Visa campaign receives top advertising award


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Visa, one of the world's leading electronic payments networks, was recently recognised at the MENA Cristal Awards in Beirut, winning 'Best Outdoor' prize for the Insurance/Banking and Financial Services category for its 'Go Fans Soccer Meets Art' campaign. The initiative, which was held in conjunction with Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), combined contemporary art with sport in the form of a 'Go Fans Soccer Meets Art' interactive media arts installation. The event was a celebration of the arrival of the Beach Soccer tournament in the UAE, and Visa' sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and was aimed at creating a fun and enjoyable football-themed event to engage the community. Maysara Ghadban Traboulsi, Visa's Head of Marketing Communications for MENA, said: "We are extremely pleased to have been acknowledged for the hard work that went into making this campaign a success."
