(MENAFN) The Chief Executive Officer of Dana Gas PJSC, Ahmad Al Arbeed, said that the company's operations were not interrupted by the recent unrest in Egypt, reported Gulf News.

Al Arbeed said that Dana Gas operations, which are located far from the urban centers which saw the most disruption, continued with production and output levels. The gas, which the company produced, continues to be produced and sold locally, he added.

It is worth noting that Dana Gas is considered the first and largest regional private natural gas company in the Middle East, of which 95 percent of its employees are local Egyptians.
