(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Qatar Exchange on Tuesday was in green area adding 64.06 points or 0.72% to 8,940.26 points from 8,876.20 on Monday.
The volume of shares traded down to 14,618,844 from 25,384,507 Monday and the value of shares fell to QR537,507,195.58 from QR841,738,810.38 on Monday.
Top gainers were Nakilat which was up 3.86% to QR19.65 ,Qatar National Bank rose 3.37% to QR141.00, Doha Bank gained 2.52% to QR61.00, Comm. Bank of Qatar by 2.29% to QR89.50 and Salam International which was up 2.14% to QR12.86.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 147.73 and the Insurance sector rose 22.06 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 77.80 points and the Services sector was added 28.56 points
