(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange was on a more confident green of 25.9 points, at 6,853.2 points, by closing Thursday, while the weighted index also managed to go up to 477.53 points, a gain of 1.37 points after 4,346 spot transactions.
Trading value came to KD 86,624,760 with 265,790,000 shares changing hands.
The sector indices were also mostly green with biggest ups of 71.7 points, 51.2 points, and 43 points seen in the food, non-Kuwaiti companies, and industrial sectors.
Once the biggest loser of over 124 points, the banking index was also green at an up of 35.9 points.
Biggest gainer share for the day was Al-Themar International Holding Company, while biggest loser was the Mena Real Estate Company stock.
The volume top five were Al-Ahlia Holding Company, Kuwait Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain), International Financial Advisers, Injazzat Real Estate Development Company, and Coast Investment and Development Company.
