KSE ends trade in green

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Wednesday trading with an up of 17 points to register 6,935 points.

Volume came to some 159.7 million shares, value to KD 38.6 million, and the session saw 3,668 spot transactions.

Five out of eight sector indices were green upon closing, with banking with the highest up of 134.7 index points. Insurance was unchanged, and the remaining sector indices ended the day in red.

Jazeera Airways was the top share for the day, while leading loser shares was that of Dar Al-Thuraya REal Estate Company.

The volume top five were the stocks of Al-Mal Investment Company, Abyaar Real Estate Development, Ithmaar Bank, Kuwait International Bank, and Aviation Lease and Fincance Company
