Amman Stock Exchange trading report for May 2


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Sunday’s trading value amounted to JD55.4 million spread over 50.7 million shares traded through 10,107 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,566 points, a drop of 0.38 per cent. Out of 159 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 63 entities rose, and those of 65 entities declined. The top five gainers were Jordan Express Tourist Transport by 4.76 per cent, Jordan New Cable by 4.65 per cent, Tuhama for Financial Investments by 4.55 per cent, National Poultry by 4.43 per cent, and Investment House for Financial Services by 4.43 per cent. The top five losers were Middle East Diversified Investment by 4.92 per cent, Middle East Complex for Eng., Electronics and Heavy Industries by 4.88 per cent, Al Rakaez Investment by 4.82 per cent, Kafa'a for Financial and Economical Investments by 4.79 per cent, and Al Ahlia Enterprises by 4.78 per cent.
