Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Apr 21


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Wednesday's trading value amounted to JD27.2 million spread over 30.6 million shares traded through 8,150 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,561points, a drop of 0.05 per cent. Out of 164 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 77 entities rose, and those of 56 firms declined. The top five gainers were Arab East Investment by 5 per cent, Capital Bank of Jordan by 5 per cent, Irbid District Electricity by 4.84 per cent, Jordan Wood Industries / JWICO by 4.75 per cent, and Amoun International for Investments by 4.71 per cent. The top five losers were Al Manara Insurance by 5 per cent, Middle East Diversified Investment by 5 per cent, Babelon Investments by 4.90 per cent, First National Vegetable Oil Industries by 4.88 per cent, and Philadelphia International Educational Investment by 4.85 per cent.
