KSE price index ends day in red, closes at 7,552 pts  

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Sunday's trading session at 7,552 points, after dropping 17.5 points.

The weighted index was also down, reading 447.18 after shedding 1.32 points.

The session saw 303.8 million shares worth KD 81.8 million traded in 6,157 transactions.

Of KSE's eight indices, only the non-Kuwaitis was up today, after putting on 33.2 points. The food index suffered the greatest lost after plummeting 59.
9 points, followed by the industrial index which lost 35.2 points, then the banking index which shed 27 points. The investment index lost 21.8 points, insurance 7.7, services 6.4, and real estate was down 5.3 points today.
Today's top gainer was the share of Al-Qurain Holding Co. which increased 9.

4 percent, while the greatest loser was the share of Damac Kuwaiti Holding Co. which was down 14.9 percent.

In terms of volume, the shares of Boubyan Bank accounted for the greatest volume of trade today at 57.9 million shares.
